How to paint the sheets

If you are going to create a painting that requires leaves, it is important to know how to paint the leaves in a realistic and beautiful way. Painting leaves does not have to be a difficult task, and knowing the techniques can help you see the design and contours in a whole new way. These are the basic steps for painting realistic sheets.

Realistic sheet paint

  1. Study your leaves. Collect the leaves you want to paint and look at them carefully. Look at the colors, shadows and contours of the leaves. Keep in mind that there are rounded and bulbous areas, and how the leaves look darker in these areas where the ribbing appears. Then squirt the colors you see on the leaves in your palette and blend until you are satisfied with the combinations.
  2. Blocks the basic colors. See what the main color of the sheet is, and block that color on the canvas by painting the basic shape of a single color. Focus on creating the shape during this step, and carefully paint the outer edges so that they look exactly the same as the sheet you are painting.
  3. Paint the veins of the leaf. Using a lighter color, paint the veins of the leaf. You will want to include as many veins as you can because the more veins you put, the more realistic your blade will look. You will need to switch to a fine brush to paint the finer veins on the blade.
  4. Paint the shadow and lights on the sheet. Keep in mind that the blade seems darker where it touches the veins. Paint this area in a darker color and gradually lighten up as you move away from your veins. Continue to use this technique for all areas of veins. Once your shadow is finished, use a lighter color and very carefully highlight areas on the canvas where the sun or light touches the leaf. You will not have to use a lot of the lighter color, a little will last a lot. Once you have finished putting the relief, use a dry brush and mix the shadows and lights.

Remove the drawers by sliding them and placing them on a flat surface. Sand the paint on the fronts and sides of the drawers. Finish sanding the table with a 200 count sandpaper.
  2. Sand the decorative edge of the light table by hand and other hard-to-reach places such as moldings or wooden handles with 100 count sandpaper. For the most difficult places use a 200 count.
  3. Clean all the dust from the light table with a clean cloth or towel.
  4. Apply the base to the table surface using a spray can filled with a wooden furniture base. Apply it evenly forwards and backwards, cover the entire piece, including the front and sides of the drawers. Allow the base to dry for 24 hours or as directed on the spray can.
  5. Apply a coat of paint on the base with the brush. Extend the paint in a thin layer over the entire surface and let the paint dry. Cover the table with another layer of paint and let it dry. If desired, sand the table between layers with 200 count sandpaper for a smoother finish.

How to make your own booth to paint cars

The only way to achieve a professional auto paint finish is to use a sprayed application system. Spray paint is highly susceptible to dust and can easily contaminate the surrounding area with unintended applications and gases. Build a car painting booth in your own garage or workshop without spending a lot of money on the materials. With the right preparation, you can build your 24 x 8 x 8 ft. (7.2 x 2.4 x 2.4 m) cabin in an afternoon. The dimensions can be easily adjusted to fit your vehicle and your workspace.

  1. Sweep the garage space or workshop designated for the cabin and clean all the dirt, dust and dirt.
  2. Attach two 1-inch (2.5 cm) diameter and 12-foot (3.6 m) PVC pipes, end-to-end through 1-inch (2.5 cm) diameter PVC tees And four outputs. Join the other two pipes in the same way. You now have two 24-foot (7.2m) long pipes. Place these pipes in parallel on the floor, at a distance of 8 feet (2.4 m).
  3. Join the long pipes with three 8-foot (2.4 m) PVC pipes. Use the PVC elbow 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm) and three outlets to join the ends of 24 ft (7.2 m) pipes. Place the 8-foot pipe (2.4 m) into the four-outlet fittings. You now have a 24 x 8 foot (7.2 x 2.4 m) structure for your car paint cabin.
  4. Insert two 8-foot (2.4 m) PVC pipes into the three-way elbow of one end of the structure, pointing up. Using the scissor ladder, nail two screws into the ceiling directly on the structure. Tie a little twine to each screw.
  5. Attach the two ends of the two PVC pipes pointing upwards with a third 8-foot tubing (2.4 m) and two additional three-outlet fittings. Tie the loose twine tips around the top of the pipe to support the end of the structure. Repeat this procedure at the other end and in the middle of the cab. Connect all accessories with pipes.
  6. Cut large pieces of 6mm construction plastic to cover the cab seal, and secure the plastic roof to the PVC frame with adhesive tape. Cut large pieces that match the sides of the 24 x 8 ft (7.2 x 2.4 m) frame, and secure with tape. Leave a side without plastic to provide a driveway.
  7. Cut two pieces of plastic to fit the ends of the 8 x 8 ft (2.4 x 2.4 m) frame and tape them together. Place three large box fans on a low workbench, inside the cabinet at one end. Cut a piece of rectangular plastic to fit the line of the three fans. Locate the fans in the space cut so they can serve as an escape for the cabin and verify that there are electrical cables outside the cabin. Seal the fans against the cut edges of the plastic with tape.
  8. Cut three sections from the opposite end of the wall so the fans fit into the three dust filters. Tape the filters to the plastic sections removed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not work in the cabin without the exhaust fans running. Always be careful when using the scissor ladder. Do not stop at the top of a ladder of these.
